With permission from COVID-19, filming in Hollywood has already started again. Productions such as ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ or M. Night Shyamalan’s new, ‘Old’, have been able to advance in their filming processes and now it is the turn of one of Netflix’s most anticipated films for next year, ‘Don’t Look Up ‘, whose filming has already begun on the streets of Boston.

Directed by Adam McKay (‘The Big Short’), the film follows two low-level astronomers who discover that an asteroid is on its way to destroy the Earth, so they decide to go on a big media tour to warn humanity, a journey in which they will experience delusional situations and very uncomfortable interviews. Oscar winners Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio will be the protagonists, and they are precisely the first to be seen these days on the set of filming, which has completely paralyzed the city center, especially the South Station that connects all public transport.

In the photos we can see the two actors dragging suitcases when leaving the train (we imagine it is part of their trip on this media tour) and with very particular outfits: Lawrence sports medium red hair with short bangs and DiCaprio a prominent beard:

Although Lawrence and DiCaprio are the protagonists, ‘Don’t Look Up’ has other big stars in its cast in various supporting roles: Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Matthew Perry, Tyler Perry, and Ron Perlman. The ensemble will also include the special presence of singer Ariana Grande and rapper Kid Cudi. Despite the delays it has suffered due to the global pandemic situation, it seems that the film may be released in 2021.
