The North American network CBS has announced the premiere date of one of its most striking proposals for 2021. I’m talking about ‘ Clarice ‘, the television spin-off of ‘ The Silence of the Lambs ‘ starring the FBI agent immortalized by Jodie Foster in the 1991 film and Julianne Moore in ‘ Hannibal ‘.

CBS will premiere the first episode on Thursday, February 11 and we can already see a first teaser trailer. This time it will be Rebecca Breeds who plays Clarice Starling in the series, which is set in 1993. A year has passed since the events of ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ and the protagonist returns to fieldwork, proving that she is a lucky magnet for monsters and lunatics.

With this premise, the series will explore the “complex psychological makeup” built between the difficult childhood of the protagonist, family secrets, and trying to find a place in a predominantly male profession. Of course, taking into account that we are in a series of networks we can expect all this through various cases of serial killers.

Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet are most responsible for the series, which is defined as psychological terror. ‘Clarice’ has a cast consisting of Breeds, Michael Cudlitz, Lucca de Oliveira, Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Devyn Tyler, and Marnee Carpenter.
