Actor Zawe Ashton is set on an on-screen face-off using Brie Larson as she’s set to play the major villain in the upcoming film, Nia DaCosta is directing the follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster Captain Marvel. More details about Ashton’s character are yet to be known.
Alongside Larson and Ashton, the cast will include Iman Vellani playing with Ms. Marvel from the forthcoming Disney Plus Collection of the Identical title, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau from WandaVision. The first Captain Marvel, directed by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, was a huge success. The audience afterwards saw Captain Marve at a pivotal part in Avengers Endgame.
Ashton is famous for Netflix’s artwork satire Velvet Buzzsaw. Her other credits include the TV series Fresh Meat, Tom Ford’s thriller Nocturnal Animals and the psychological horror film Greta.
