Jimin of BTS and Taeyang of Big Bang recently revealed “VIBE” as the name of their first collaboration. The music video is out today and features both Taeyang and Jimin. Fans have been waiting for Jimin’s association and solos since the vocalist hinted that he was working on them last year. After the release of posters and teasers, all of them eagerly waiting the duo’s collaboration.
Taeyang and Jimin’s vocals complement each other well. As the result, they created a hip-hop song with a rocker vibe. The song’s opening scene features Taeyang completing the first chorus with dynamic moves and lyrics. That will make you tap your foot. This is also Jimin’s first solo album following the group’s announcement that they will be concentrating more on individual schedules in the upcoming year. The vibe is loved by RM, J-hope, and V, who have previously expressed this on Instagram.

This “vibe” may join the US Billboard Hot 100 main single chart given the K-pop industry’s recent influx of Hallyu stars. Since the release of Taeyang’s third regular album, “White Night,” in August 2017, it has been roughly five years and five months.
