Writer Michael Connelly simply shared an upgrade on Bosch Season 7, but it is likely not exactly what fans of the series want to listen to. New episodes of this Amazon Prime Video series are certainly coming, but we do not know when they may arrive.

Bosch, which originated in 2014, was revived for a seventh and final season in February 2020. In the last few decades, new seasons of this crime drama starring Titus Welliver are made accessible in mid-April. But thus far, there has been no information about when the last season may arrive.

Connelly — that writes the long-running set of books where the series is based — lately confirmed that he is as much in the dark because of the show’s audiences.

“No launch date information yet for @BoschAmazon season,” that he tweeted on Feb. 22. But he’d share that lovers of these novels can anticipate some new Bosch book in November 2021.

Titus Welliver shares upgrades from’Bosch’ collection

Welliver — that plays with LAPD detective Harry Bosch about the series — has been upgrading fans about progress on the new episodes. At a Jan. 20 tweet, he shared the creation on the last season had stopped.

“My home away from home. I will miss it…,” he wrote in 1 tweet. Luckily, Welliver obtained a unique gift from among his co-stars to help him recall his time on the series. DaJuan Johnson, who plays Detective Rondell Pierce, gave him a custom-made Bosch Lego group featuring the show’s major roles as Minifigures.

What will ‘Bosch’ Season 7 be about?

While we do not know precisely the way Bosch will finish, we do understand that the show’s final season is going to be inspired by 2 Connelly books: The Burning Room and The Concrete Blonde. (Components of The Concrete Blonde also inspired Bosch Season 1.)

In season 7, Bosch and his partner Jerry Edgar (The Wire’s Jamie Hector) will likely be chasing different murder investigations. One is associated with the high-level white-collar offense. Another involves the street-level medication enterprise.

A succession according to Michael Connelly’s’The Lincoln Lawyer’ show is coming to Netflix

Even though Bosch is coming to an end, lovers of Connelly’s job have yet another show to anticipate. Netflix is operating on The Lincoln Lawyer, which is based on his collection of novels comprising attorney Mickey Haller. The series will star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Haller.

“We want to begin shooting in March,” Connelly told the Tampa Bay Times in an interview printed in January 2021. Like Bosch, it’ll be filmed in Los Angeles.

“The series is all about L.A.,” Connelly said. “Mickey practices law from his Lincoln Town Car, and you also see L.A. going from outside the windows. Ted Humphrey, the showrunner, told everyone he wanted the series to be accurate to L.A. as Bosch is, so that is the catchword.”
