Ayan Mukerji Brahmastra: Producer Ayan Mukerji says when people watched his mega blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, he used to hide himself as he had an idea of what he was doing. Will say Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur was released in 2013.
When asked what is more challenging to make a great film like ‘Brahmastra’ or to grow its release and show it to the world? To this Ayan said, as a filmmaker you are very nervous and you are ready to take the decision. You feel very vulnerable and naked when you cast your film. When people used to watch ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ I used to hide.. ‘Oh God what will he say’, ‘I hope they like the film’.
With ‘Brahmastra’ I have put a lot in the film for so long. My penance of 10 years, I have a very peaceful confidence when it comes to this film. Of course, I am very nervous.. but there is a level where I feel very proud of the film and very proud of what we have achieved here and I think the country will feel very proud of the film And I have a lot of faith in this film. So, the joy of sharing it is greater than the fear and insecurities.’ Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, the film will hit the theaters on September 9 in five Indian languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
