Chittorgarh Fort Located in the city of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, Chittorgarh Fort is one of the most famous forts in the state. Built-in the 7th century AD, Chittorgarh Fort is spread in 700 acres with a perimeter wall of 13 km. A must-visit when in the state, the fort represented the Rajput gallantry and honor and used to be the capital of Mewar rulers. The fort has seven gates and two towers, along with 65 structures for tourists to explore and experience.

The fort is approximately 300 km away from the pink city of Jaipur, 110 km away from Udaipur, and 312 km away from Jodhpur. You can choose to travel from any of these nearby cities at your convenience and choice. The nearest airport to the fort would be that of Udaipur that is Maharana Pratap Airport. The nearest railway station would be Chittorgarh Junction, which is approximately 6 km away from the fort. Another railway station is Chanderiya Railway Station, which is 11 km away from the fort.
