He is adamant about finding the treasure of $400 million that his father died trying to hunt. This series is filled with intriguing things that keep one’s eyes glued to the screen. Outer Banks Season 3 Release Date
All those who are hooked on watching Outer Banks Season 3 definitely need to know what happens after Season 2. As it left them with a lot of questions. Netflix has not officially renewed the release of Season 3. But seeing the positive outburst and love of the fans for the show, it is likely that the making of season 3 will be announced soon.

Considering the timeline of previous releases, Outer Banks Season 1 was released in April 2020 and the announcement of the making of Season 2 was done 3 months later in July 2020. Many viewers agree that the ending of Season 2 was a shocker. All around the series, John B. and Sarah had been searching for the treasure and they also reunited with the rest of the Pogues in Charlotte. The Pogues acquired the gold cross but it got lost to The Camerons (Sarah’s family) during a dramatic altercation on a cargo ship.
Then, the season ends with Carla visiting John’s father whom many assumed to be dead. Big John( John B’s father) promises to help Carla. She needed help regarding the Shroud of Turin (a magical healing cloth that is supposed to be hidden in the gold cross). Big John takes her promise that she helps John B. and his friends on their treasure hunt.
There are many questions that are expected to be answered in the Outer Banks Season 3 of the series. Not only the audience is anticipating the quest of the treasure hunt to continue but also wondering whether or not John B will get a reunion with his father (who is apparently alive and clearly breathing). In an interview, Josh Pate also clarified that the major theme of Season 3 would be John B’s relationship with his father. There are no official details about the plot but it is safe to assume that these questions will be answered.
