Alia Bhatt is the latest victim of a deepfake video

Alia Bhatt is the most recent victim of deepfake videos, which have been targeting Bollywood actresses lately. An image of Alia superimposed over a woman making suggestive gestures on camera has been making the rounds on the internet. She is seen wearing a blue floral co-ord set in the edited clip. The actor hasn’t addressed the controversy as of yet.

This occurred a few days after deepfake footage featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Kajol, and Katrina Kaif sparked worries about the improper use of artificial intelligence (AI). The edited video, which had originally been posted on Instagram by a British-Indian woman, showed Mandanna getting into a lift. Mandanna tweeted in response to the video. Saying, “I have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online and I feel really hurt to share this.” Something like this truly terrifies me, as does every other person who is vulnerable to such harm in the modern world due to technology misuse.” Superstar Amitabh Bachchan responded, saying, “Yes, there is a good case for legal action.”

Similar to this. Katrina Kaif was duped by an edited video that featured her fighting a Hollywood stuntwoman. In a scene from Tiger 3 while sporting a low-cut white top. However, in Kajol’s deepfake video, her face was altered to resemble an influencer getting dressed in front of the camera. In response to the deepfake videos going viral online, neither Katrina nor Kajol commented. Thus, with the deepfake controversy escalating in the entertainment industry. It is imperative that caution and awareness regarding the misuse of AI be exercised.
