Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed his deep gratitude to Aamir Khan for his invaluable support. Saying that this assistance will undoubtedly help in the relief and rehabilitation efforts aimed at helping the affected families recover after the disaster.

The Chief Minister said that the fund will be used judiciously to ensure that it reaches the needy people. He said his noble gesture as an icon of Hindi cinema is set to bring a remarkable change in the lives of those who have been adversely affected by the monsoon outbreak in the state. Due to continuous rains in Himachal Pradesh, incidents of landslides and cloud bursts have occurred in various areas. Heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh has triggered landslides and cloud bursts in numerous areas.

Work front of the actor

On the work front, Aamir Khan’s production ‘Missing Ladies’ directed by Kiran Rao received a positive response at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). ‘Laapata Ladies’ stars Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan in lead roles. The film was screened at the grand premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on 8 September.

Aamir was last seen on the big screen in Laal Singh Chaddha (2022). This film was the official remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. The film was released to positive critical response. But was a box office failure. Following his role in “Laal Singh Chaddha,” Aamir Khan decided to take a hiatus from the silver screen.
