A 10-year-old girl from Punjab dies after eating her birthday cake

A cake in Patiala, Punjab, proved fatal when its high sugar content resulted in a terrible incident that killed a girl and sickened her relatives. This sparked concerns about food safety, causing Zomato to close the bakery. According to District Health Officer Dr Vijay Jindal, tests found that the cake contained an excessive amount of saccharine, a synthetic sweetener.

The terrible death of a ten-year-old girl in Punjab’s Patiala in March stunned the entire country. The girl died after eating the cake her family had purchased for her birthday. The recent finding has sparked concerns about the quality of our food supply.

According to the report, the cake included a significant concentration of saccharine, a sweet-tasting systematic component. A small quantity of saccharine is typically used in foods and beverages, but large doses can quickly raise blood glucose levels.

Dr. Vijay Jindal, District Health Officer, revealed that the cake was cooked with a high level of saccharine, a sweet-tasting synthetic substance. Officials stated action would be taken against the bakery because an FIR had already been lodged against the proprietor.

Punjab Girl’s Birthday Celebration Video Goes Viral

In a viral video posted on social media, a young girl named Manvi is shown gleefully cutting the cake. Shortly after the cutting, the entire family, including Manvi’s younger sister, became unwell. The girls vomited, and Manvi complained of dry mouth and severe thirst, according to her grandfather.

When Manvi lost consciousness, her relatives immediately took her to a neighboring hospital. Despite efforts to stabilize her condition with oxygen, she was pronounced dead shortly after. The family claims that the chocolate cake bought from ‘Cake Kanha’ contained hazardous chemicals.
