You Season 2 arrived on Netflix, we are continuing to track the news about a third season of the chilling show. The streaming giant has confirmed the second installment of its hit show is on the way. Here is what we know up to now about the upcoming potential chapter of Joe Goldberg’s story.
An official return date has not been announced just yet, but Netflix did say that You season 3 will arrive sooner or later in 2021, with filming kicking off in February.
But with coronavirus having caused chaos for TV and movie productions throughout the board, we could be looking at the very end of the year, and also beyond that when matters do not improve.
But what is happening is the release of the next book in the series, You Love Me, which will hit shelves on April 6, 2021.
We all know Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will reunite as Joe and Love. There is no way the string would have the ability to continue without them considering the way the next season left. We also understand the next people will return, as well as some new developments:
Saffron Burrows as Love’s mother, Dottie
Dylan Arnold as Theo
Tati Gabrielle as Marienne
Michaela McManus as Natalie
Shannon Chan-Kent as Kiki
Ben Mehl as Dante
Chris O’Shea as Andrew
Christopher Sean as Brandon
Bryan Safi as Jackson
Mackenzie Astin as Gil
Ayelet Zurer as Dr. Chandra
Jack Fisher as Young Joe Goldberg
Mauricio Lara as Paulie
There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet. That’s not all too surprising because filming hasn’t finished. We won’t expected a trailer until about a month before the release date.
You Season 3 is set to pick up off the back of the cliffhanger in the second season. Joe and Love are expecting a baby, but they are certainly not in love. Joe has realized he has discovered his female counterpart, and that’s extremely dangerous for him.
At the same time, there’s a new neighbor that has caught his attention. Can she be safe considering Joe and Love’s past actions?
