It had been in 2019 when we last visited the city of Hawkins in Netflix’s hit drama Stranger Things. The pandemic hit on a pause button on the show’s filming program when they began shooting season 4 in ancient 2020. Now, more than a year after, the return of season 4 of Stranger Things is not yet been decided. Created by the Duffer Brothers, the series has gone on to become a major hit throughout the world.
While we wait for season 4, actor Gaten Matarazzo who performs the ever-lovable Dustin in the show just gave an upgrade. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Gaten revealed that there’ll definitely be a total change in season 4 as the characters have grown older. He explained, “When it comes to the tone of the season, it’s definitely, I think the tone is definitely matured for certain”
He added that the Duffer Brothers have worked hard at it and done an incredible job. “I think they really do this on purpose because I think they want their show to grow with their kids. As we’re growing older as people, we have to grow older as characters. They are confronted by this issue, but they embrace it, and they use it to their advantage. And they don’t freak out once we get taller or if our voices drop or anything like that. They utilize it and they use it as ammunition to get their writing. It’s incredible what they can do. Working with them, it’s just exceptional. Always was.”
Thus far, Netflix only teased a teaser from season 4 that shows Hopper amidst the Russians. Does he escape or is it the end of Hopper? Well, we can’t wait to find out in season 4 of Stranger Things.
