Once they do reconnect, we see the friends help each other through their various individual struggles, including one storyline in which Jules’s friends invite her to move on out of Jeremy by having a casual relationship with someone else that she can, with a man named Ryan (Derek Theler), resulting in a brief fling between the two. Her friends also have their very own relationship-centered storylines, for example, Madison dating an elderly physician, Colin (Goran Visnjic) who proves to be wed to Jules’s boss.
The final episode sees Jeremy asking Jules to reunite them with him which she rejects, and Jules revealing to a whole wedding presence that Colin is cheating on his wife. Additionally, Stella announces she got into business school in Philadelphia. It ends with Jules and her friends stealing Ramona’s wedding car to drive back to California together. Is Madison’s affair with Colin over? Additionally, the exploration of these reconnected friendships has loads of space to grow further. We will just need to wait until we have more information about the season to get a better idea.
