We still have many weeks of Last Man Standing to go until the series finale airs, but things are slightly different behind the scenes.
How much so? Let us just say that tonight marks the final day of filming the sitcom. This will be a very emotional evening for the entire cast and crew, and celebrity Tim Allen noted on Twitter which there’ll be a restricted audience in attendance for this final moment.
It’s going to be difficult for lots of people involved here in order to say goodbye. Allen, Nancy Travis, and many other cast and crew members have been there from the very start, and there are a lot of other actors have joined on the way. Each of them has poured their hearts into this series, and this season has to be one of the most difficult yet. Just think in terms of all the added protocols, starting production overdue, and figuring out how to tell stories that variable in current events but also give people hope.
At the moment, it’s much too early to tell for certain how Last Man Standing is going to finish at the end, it’s almost better to not know. This is one of the shows that’s going to be better if there are some surprises thrown in, and we surely think that there are going to be a few here. We know that Kaitlyn Dever (Eve) is going to be back — we’d really like to see other recognizable faces, callbacks to the past, and much more than anything else pleasure. This is a series about family; the most important thing to us is that Last Person Standing closes with a message regarding the value of family members and having fun together with those in your life. Let’s just hope the last minutes deliver.
