The son of a police officer posted as Additional Superintendent of Police in Mirzapur has succeeded in the UPSC examination at the age of 22 and a half years. In the very first attempt itself, Aditya Verma, son of SP City Sanjay Verma, secured 200th rank.

Aditya Verma passed the exam in the first attempt itself. He got the 200th rank, the special thing is that he passed this exam in just 22 years and 6 months. Aditya Verma did his early education from Lucknow Public School. From there he went to Delhi after passing high school and intermediate examination and from Delhi he did B.Tech. He started preparing for Union Public Service Commission only after B.Tech and got success in the first attempt itself.

Aditya Verma credits his success to his father and mother. Said that this achievement has been achieved due to his inspiration. When I saw my father serving the poor as a police officer, he got inspiration from there to serve the country by becoming an IPS. Happy on the success of the son, Sanjay Verma said that “After a struggle and hard work, the son has got success, I do not have words to say anything”.
