Tiger King was crowned that the series of quarantine. But most of us cool cats and cats are clamoring to know: Is a second season at the works? While there has been no official statement, the show’s blockbuster viewing numbers suggest more Tiger King may be in the cards. Beneath, everything that’s been said about season 2 so far.
In the conclusion of the limited series, Joe Exotic was detained for several wildlife charges and sentenced to 22 years in prison. The other major revelation was that the accusation which Bhagavan”Doc” Antle, owner of this T.I.G.E.R.S. exotic animal park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was euthanizing tigers and burying them on his property.
PETA accused Antle of selling his tigers to a circus owner, and his facility was raided by South Carolina SLED (State Law Enforcement Division) representatives trying to ascertain whether the three tiger cubs were acquired illegally. Nothing amounted to the raid, and also his Myrtle Beach safari park stays open to the day. If you’re wondering if they shut to prevent the spread of coronavirus: they just reopened.
Chances are pretty good the series comes back this season but, no official release date for Tiger King season two. But within the many hints that have been dropped, something seems to be going down sometime in March or April 2021.
The show was not among the list of Netflix releases for March 2021, so it is more likely to be released in April or even later.
Whether the large three exotic park owners — Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and Doc Antle — would reunite for the series is anyone’s guess. Despite the attention of the show changing, these people are leading figures in broader conversations about wildlife conservation. While it certainly put them in the spotlight, also, it exposed them to intense criticism, therefore it might go either way. In terms of Joe Exotic, unless his appeal comes through, he’ll be giving some interviews from behind bars.
