The Walking Dead season 11: Release Date, Cast, Plot And Current Updates

Every one of The Walking Dead season 10 ‘s six episodes will center around a distinct cast of central characters. As we saw this past week, the premiere “Home Sweet Home” centered on Maggie, her new team, and the Reapers that are menacing them. Next week’s “One More” will concentrate on Gabriel and Aaron. Two other episodes, “Splinter” and “Here is Negan” will focus on the railyard team (Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel, and Princess) and Negan, respectively.

There are, however, two characters in this six-episode conduct who’ll get multiple centric installments. And as one would expect, it’s none other than Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). This week’s “Locate Me” will center on the pair since will week five’s “Diverged” The synopsis for “Find Me”

“An experience for Daryl and Carol turns backward when they encounter an old cottage. It requires Daryl back to the years when he left the band following Rick vanished because he relives some time that only the apocalypse could attest.”

From the absence of Rick Grimes and Michonne, Daryl and Carol have come to be the de facto leads on The Walking Dead…when they hadn’t been all this time anyway. In reality, if AMC revealed that the show would end following its 11th season, also, it declared a Daryl and Carol spinoff just to assuage enthusiast’s fears that the pair would one day not be on television.

Given that a spinoff is on the horizon, it’s reasonable to wonder if Daryl and Carol starring in a full one-third of The Walking Dead season 10 is a means to begin to lay the groundwork for their eventual spinoff 24 episodes from today.

By showrunner Angela Kang, the response to that question is a paraphrased “eh, maybe kind of…but not really.” As Kang points out, The Walking Dead season 11’s 24 supported episodes represent a big chunk of storytelling before Carol and Daryl hit off by themselves.

“At the specific location they’re at today, it seems pretty far away from where they’d need to be to be able to go into their spinoff, but it is a part of their ongoing story,” Kang says. “We’ve got kind of a long runway to get it done because we have 24 episodes beforehand in season 11.”

Somewhat lost in the news that The Walking Dead is ending is that the series still has quite a long way to go. In addition to these six additional seasons 10 episodes, the 24 episodes that will compose the final year signifies the show’s largest episode order by far. So rather than looking to Daryl and Carol’s futures by themselves, “Find Me” and “Diverged” will focus on the characters’ past.
