AMC announced Sunday night through a brief commercial that is closing the 11th season of “The Walking Dead” which will premiere this summer.
The summertime season is a surprise because “TWD” usually debuts new seasons in October. The show’s schedule was changed up last year on account of the pandemic.
Because of this, AMC arranged a bonus of six episodes of this show’s season 10, which surfaced on the network Sunday night. In September, AMC announced “TWD” will finish in 2022 using an enlarged 24-episode final season .
While no specific premiere date has been announced for season 11, when we do some detective work, we understand “Fear TWD” returns with nine new episodes on April 11, 2021.

If “Fear” runs for nine weeks straight and leads right into a new season of “TWD,” we could see the series return to TV as early as June 13, 2021. Presently, “Fear TWD,” TWD,” and “TWD: World Beyond” are all filming new episodes simultaneously.
