Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar trailer shows that we won’t be seeing Kartik Aryan or Nusrat Barucha; instead, we are going to witness Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, the most-awaited duo of this year. Netizens are already anticipating this modern-day love story.
Luv Ranjan directed the rom-com, and this film marks the acting debut of India’s famous comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi. The movie is scheduled to be released for Holi in 2023. The Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar trailer released on Monday features Ranbir Kapoor and a bikini-clad Shraddha Kapoor romancing each other. After watching the trailer, this appears to be a story of fake love, broken promises, and contemporary dating norms.
For the first time, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor share screen time, and Ranbir’s return to the rom-com genre after over ten years is enough motivation to watch Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar by Luv Rajan. If that’s not enough, the trailer itself is entertaining, colorful, and engaging.
The characters of Ranbir and Shraddha are presented to us as they cross paths and fall in love. But the twist is that they are attempting to break up because, well, he’s a makkar and she’s a jhoothi! Like the majority of Luv Rajan movies, this one too revolves around a dramatic and dishonest couple’s relationship. When he flashes his six-pack, Ranbir looks great, and his comedic timing is indeed exactly on point.
Shraddha was most recently seen in Baaghi 3, and she is equally winning hearts with her gorgeous looks in every film. Her charming, goofy relationship with RK is undoubtedly the film’s USP. This duo is hilarious together; I’m curious about what took so long to bring them together. Abhinav Bassi, a stand-up comedian who also appears in the film, gets along well with Kapoor, adding more fun to it. Boney Kapoor, who is making his acting debut, isn’t given any screen time in the trailer, while Dimple Kapadia makes a brief appearance.
The trailer’s breathtaking visuals are what draw viewers in, besides the main actors and their relationship. You’ll recognize Corsica from Tamasha in a few of the shots. Pritam’s upbeat background music complements the film’s stunning locations beautifully.
