It has been a long time since we saw the old presenters of ‘Top Gear’ do their thing in front of the cameras and many of their followers were wondering when a new installment of the fourth season of ‘The Grand Tour’ would arrive. Well, Amazon Prime Video has just announced its return date, although not only that since it has left us with the first trailer of the new adventure of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.

Ready For Action

This new special will take place in Madagascar and is called ‘A Massive Hunt’. We will still have to wait a few weeks since the scheduled premiere date for this long-awaited episode is next December 18, the day on which we will see the three British presenters driving extensively modified cars on the island of East Africa with the purpose of “searching treasures ”. For this reason, the ideal would be to have three robust and powerful 4x4s, but instead, the skull trio has opted for completely different cars.

Unsurprisingly, the travel companions chosen for the occasion are far from the best for tackling difficult terrain as asphalt is their natural place. We say this because the main stars of the Madagascar special are the Bentley Continental GT, Ford Focus RS and Caterham Seven, chosen by Clarkson, Hammond and May respectively. Obviously, these three vehicles were not going to remain unchanged throughout the episode because in this adventure they will have to face all kinds of difficulties.

Perhaps the most impressive of them all is the oval sports compact, as Hammond has managed to install a set of wheeled tracks as if it were some kind of tank and a snorkel kit. The Clarkson-modified Continental GT also features two raised air intakes, widened wheel arches and off-road tires, as well as an external roll cage and a luggage rack. Perhaps the funniest car is the Caterham, which seems to have a pair of tractor wheels on the rear.

The official description of the new stage reads as follows: “Armed with three sports cars, Richard, James and Jeremy believe that a comfortable road trip and fun adventures await them when they arrive in Reunion and race on the most expensive tarmac track in the world. an amazing ring road built into the sea. But a strange challenge from Mr. Wilman propels them across the ocean to Madagascar, where they must tackle the world’s toughest road, in some of the most heavily modified cars they have ever built, to complete one of their most difficult missions to date “ We are looking forward to this new adventure.
