‘College Romance’ as the name suggests involves three colleges best friends—Karan (Keshav Sadhna), Trippy (Manjot Singh) and Naira (Apoorva Arora)— love lives. Karan is the boyfriend to the hottest girl in the college, Deepika (Shreya Mehta), while Trippy is trying to attract a fresh year student’s attention.

This show is directed by Simarpreet Singh, this five-part series will definitely remind you of your college days as it has quite aptly captured the essence. Co-written by Kunal Aneja and Abhishek Srivastava, this Timeliners originals rom-com is a laugh riot with ample one-liners. Together, they have rightly mixed the story with the required innocence and the adventure one experiences in their college days, especially in order to maintain their relationships.
However, the only thing that might disappoint some viewers is that there are no unique elements in the show and the plot appears quite similar to the other web shows in the same genre. The performances are praiseworthy as the characters are really relatable. Out of the three besties, Apoorva Arora as a sensible girl Naira is quite impressive, but her relationship with her boyfriend, Bagga (Gagan Arora), is quite a cheesy one.
Both Keshav Sadhna and Manjot Singh are hilarious, however, Manjot’s Trippy has the best one-liners. Shreya Mehta’s character Deepika is quite annoying and her relationship status with Karan is confusing, too. Hira Ashar as a college fresher Raveena, who has started a liking towards Trippy, is adorable. Youth will definitely relate to these believable characters.
