The Dragon Prince Season 3 Story
During the SDCC 2019 panel, we heard a couple of details about year 3 of The Dragon Prince season 3.
It was disclosed that The Dragon Prince series would encompass three”books” of Moon, Sky, and Sun. There will be a sequel series entitled The Dragon Prince: (Name Witheld) after that. No, it’s not really titled Name Witheld, that’s just to hide the actual title. It will start with publication Earth, followed by a second untitled book. That series will then be followed by another series (not named) which will have two novels. Executive producer Aaron Ehasz said fans have to create the need to make sure the whole story gets told.
In a discussion of this deadline of the whole universe, they mentioned the Modern Era (in which the show is set) was also called”The Return of Aaravos.”
Wonderstorm announced a partnership with Scholastic books, including the publication of a guide book, a graphic novel, and core novels that tell the most important story of this series with additional information. The guide book will comprise elves we haven’t seen, a brand new arch dragon, and much more lore.
The Dragon Prince Season 3 Cast
At this time, it looks like all The Dragon Prince cast is going to be back for the third season! If there any new characters however we can’t wait to learn who they will be voiced by.
Sadly we do not know how many episodes three of The Dragon Prince will possess but hopefully, it’s at least the nine we got in year two. The more of those characters we get? The better!
The Dragon Prince was created by Aaron Ehasz, head writer on Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Justin Richmond.
Stay tuned to Den of Geek for all things The Dragon Prince! What are you looking to in season three? Who’s your favorite character? What plotline are you most excited to see them tackle? We hope for more Human! Rayla jokes. They give us so much life.
The Dragon Prince Season 3 Trailer
We do not have a trailer for its third season yet but the footage was shown at the SDCC panel that included what appeared like a flashback sequence of a human speaking with Sol Regem, who told the human to provide up dark magic or he would destroy his whole city.
The panel also showed off a teaser picture for The Dragon Prince season 3 that you can see below.
We also have some nice promotional artwork of The Dragon Prince out of Wondercon which can be found below.
That is an adorable shot of Zym. In season three he’ll get an opportunity to be about more dragons. That would certainly open the lore of the sequence.
If for some reason you have not given The Dragon Prince a chance, you really should. It’s well worthwhile.
