While season four of the hit series focused on the connection between Charles and Diana, matters are now awaiting season five that focuses on the tumultuous early 90s in greater detail. It’s set to be the penultimate season of the Netflix show, with production scheduled to start in June 2021. New episodes won’t be arriving till 2022, but there is a whole lot for fans to get excited about. The upcoming episodes will visit Elizabeth Debicki step into the part of Princess Diana from seasons five and six. The 30-year-old actress is known for her performances from the likes of Tenet, The Great Gatsby, and The Night Supervisor. She’ll take more than Emma, whose operation provided a number of the most engrossing minutes in season four. Speaking about joining the play, Elizabeth explained: ‘Princess Diana’s spirit, her voice, and her actions reside in the hearts of so many. ‘It is my true liberty and honor to be linking this masterful series, that has had me absolutely hooked from episode one.’
Meanwhile, Emma recently shared her guidance to Elizabeth for taking over the function of Diana, stating:’Make it your own. Place blinkers on for the rest of the world and also for the pressure.’
