Based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is a gritty superhero TV series following the titular team in its quest to take down Vought International, the firm responsible for giving people superpowers. Over the course of its two seasons, The Boys has shown among Amazon Prime Video’s most successful first programs, and so it is no surprise the company greenlit a third season early.
When Will Season 3 Of The Boys Come Out On Amazon?
The third Sseason of The Boys was a done deal before the next season. In October of last year, a tweet from showrunner Eric Kripke (he also worked on the series Supernatural, btw) confirmed that the show had been slated to start production in ancient 2021 with an episode titled “Payback,” composed by Craig Rosenberg.
Nevertheless, the coronavirus outbreak has caused delays in tv production. While season 1 of the show premiered in July of 2019, followed by season 2 just over a year later in September of 2020, the word is that the wait will probably be substantially longer for the next season’s setup. The Plot Of The Boys Season 3
Since The Boys does not follow Ennis and Robertson’s original comics series very closely, it is difficult to say for certain precisely what Season 3 of the Amazon Prime Video series will concentrate on.
