Sunny Deol is an Indian actor, producer, film director and politician. His born name is Ajay Singh Deol. He was born on 19 October 1956 in Punjab, India. Sunny Deol is known for his work in Hindi cinema. Did his schooling from Sacred Heart Boys High School, Maharashtra. Graduated from Ramniranjan Anadilal Podar College of Commerce and Economics. His father is a prior superstar of Bollywood, Dharmendra, who was also seen in a lead role in the movie Sholay. Which was a major hit in the history of Bollywood Industry.
About his early life, he studied theatre from Birmingham. 1980s and 1990s was a golden era of Sunny’s career. The movie Betaab was his debut movie which was released in the year 1983. Deol has given us several blockbuster movies such as Gadar- ek prem katha, Ghayal, Damini, Darr, London, Dillagi, Ghatak and many more. In 1991, he got the Filmafare Best Actor Award and the National Film Special Jury Award for the movie Ghayal. For the movie Damini, Sunny was bestowed with National Film Best Supporting Actor Award. The year 2002, he got awards for Best Actor Award, Zee Cine Special Award for outstanding performance for the superhit movie Gadar- Ek Prem Katha.
