Is there likely to become a Stranger Things season 5?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Duffer Brothers, the creator of the beloved Netflix original show, revealed that season 4 wouldn’t be the final and Stranger Things season 5 is going to occur.
Sheriff Hopper, aka David Harbour, also mentions the fifth job in a meeting with Gold Derby where she needed to say on the issue:

We’ve previously reported that there is a rumor which Stranger Matters season 5 could very be the series’s farewell tour and function as the last chapter of this series. There are also rumors that indicate that the show will split into two parts because of its last hurrah.
Netflix has been proven to change its minds in regards to the last outing. Lucifer and The Crown obtained the go-ahead for more, so it’s not crazy to believe that this rumor might be a trick from the Mind Flayer or some gossip from the Upside Down.
Either way, there is no definitive answer now as to whether or not Stanger Things season 5 and nothing official has been putting out.

There is no official release date for Stranger Things season 5, and fans will have to be patient when waiting for any statement to get there. There is a great chance contributors will not understand until after season 4 has aired, which doesn’t have a definite premiere window either.
