Stranger Things Season 4’s Production Started Back In March 2020 But Was Halted Due To The Covid-19 Pandemic

Netflix has revived the science fiction horror series Stranger Things for Season 4. The fourth season is currently under production and the fans are eagerly awaiting to see the hit collection. Lately, at a video call with a buff, Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard verified that the show would flow on Netflix in 2022.

Finn Wolfhard said, ” ‘Season 4?’ It should be out sometime next year, hopefully.” Although this is not an official announcement nonetheless a 2022 launch of Stranger Things Season 4 is the greatest gap between two consecutive seasons of the sequence.

Fans are unhappy with the conclusion that Stranger Things Season 4 will not be released until 2022. One of the Twitter users composed”It’s absolutely ridiculous to create angry fans wait much longer just because you want to launch it at precisely the exact same season as in the series. However, we all know that the reason behind the delay in the show’s release. The Duffer Brothers-created-show Stranger Things Season 4’s production started back in March 2020 but was halted due to this COVID-19 pandemic. In mid-June 2020, they affirmed that the whole script was ready, and also the first two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 were to filming.

The filming for the fourth season of the series was initially supposed to begin on January 7, 2020, and has been set to complete on August 5, 2020. According to a report then by Hollywood Reporter, Stranger Things Season 4 filming was rescheduled to start on September 17, 2020. Sad to say, the filming has been stopped again.

However, as of March 2021, Stranger Things Season 4 filming resumed. Cast and crew members are back to work. The filming is moving somewhat slower than previously, as everybody must keep the security protocols of the COVID-19.

Stranger Things Season 4 will occur far from Hawkins as in the last season we watched Byers’ family and Eleven shifting their location. Matt Duffer suggests there were many loose ends in the third season. As an example, Hopper’s perceived departure and being adopted by Will’s mother, and shifting with her new family out of the country, will all be explored in Season 4.
