Stranger Things Season 4: Netflix Release Date, Trailer, Cast And More Updates

Stranger Things season 4 is happening! Netflix renewed the series only three months after the premiere of this next season. This isn’t a surprise. Not only does Netflix want to maintain the Stranger Things franchise moving, but do The Duffer Brothers and all the other folks who make Stranger Things. Otherwise, why keep the hopes of Jim Hopper’s success alive and reintroduce the Demogorgon to the world? The Duffers themselves have previously stated that they had a fourth-season planned.

Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date

No release date was set, and it is hard to say when Stranger Things season 4 might premiere. The first two seasons were October affairs with season 3 taking a little more time and eventually premiering on July 4, 2019.

A TV Line report on the number of Season 4 episodes additionally affirms that shooting was originally set to commence in January, likely wrapping in August, but this was before production was shut down due to the coronavirus. As of October 2020, production has started on the summer once again in Atlanta.

Stranger Things Season 4 Cast

It is no secret that Stranger Things’ most potent weapon is its cast. It’s fair to assume that all living characters will probably be back in season 4, meaning functions for: Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink. Recurring actors and new additions such as Priah Ferguson, Maya Hawke, and maybe even Cary Elwes could return also.

1 actor who’ll be upped to a normal role for the new season is Brett Gelman. His character, Murray Bauman, a journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist, played a major role in the last two seasons and will continue to do so in Stranger Things season 4.

And as you may have guessed, there is no way there will be a Stranger Things year without David Harbour! Based on the Stranger Things season 3 post-credits scene, and the first teaser (which you can view below) we all know that Harbour will reunite with the rest of the cast as well.
