Sonam Kapoor Baby Shower Function Canceled:
Sonam Kapoor is all set to welcome her first child with husband Anand Ahuja. Some special friends and family members of Bollywood were invited for their baby shower function. This baby shower function was to be held on July 17 at Miss India Kavita Singh’s house in Bandstand, Mumbai. However, in view of the increasing cases of Kovid, the function of Sonam’s baby shower has to be canceled.
As reported by TOI, the Kapoor family was quite excited to host Sonam’s baby shower. The entire preparation for this function was also done. Apart from this, customized hampers were also sent to the guests. However, they were concerned about the severity of Kovid earlier as well and that is why the family took this decision at the last minute to avoid any risk to the mother and her baby.
It is reported that Sonam’s friend and fashion designer Masaba Gupta had designed a theme based dress for her baby shower. Both Sonam and Masaba have a close friendship. These friendships are not from today, but they are childhood friends. Sonam is back in Mumbai for her second baby shower.

Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor had made all the preparations to host a grand baby shower party for their daughter. Many celebs including Swara Bhaskar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora, Alia Bhatt, Natasha Dalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone, Masaba, Rani Mukerji and Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor was expected to attend the event.
Last month, Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower in London was celebrated with much fanfare, pictures of which went viral on social media. Gifts were also given to all the guests in this function. Sonam and Anand Ahuja got married in May 2018. In March 2022, the actress announced her pregnancy.
