“We need leaders not in love with money but in love with justice. Not in love with publicity but in love with humanity”. Shameem Ahmad, a 21-year-old MBBS student, made this powerful statement by Dr. Martin Luther King, his vision to see politics from a different perspective.
In this era where Indian politics is rooted in corruption, injustice, exploitation of marginalized communities, and masculinity; Shameem Ahmad is trying to build a door of happiness and opportunities for the deprived section of the society.

Shameem Ahmad belongs to the beautiful city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. A dedicated social worker and a follower of humanity, Ahmad dreamt of becoming a doctor to serve mankind. Coming from a middle-class family, it was not easy for him to attain his notion. He worked hard and shifted to Kota, Rajasthan for the preparation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). His dedication and hard work were found fruitful after he managed to get admission to a private college. Ahmad also joined the prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for pursuing higher education.

In 2019, Tipu Sultan Party (TSP) was registered with the Election Commission under the leadership of Prof. Shaikh Sadeque. Shameem Ahmad was appointed as the party president of TSP, Uttar Pradesh. Since that day, a social worker, Ahmad, has worked hard to fulfill the needs of local citizens of his constituency. Since his childhood, he had a ‘spark’ to change the world, to do things a little differently. He has always wanted to do something for the homeless and helpless people.

After the Covid-19 pandemic shattered the dreams of many and made millions of people homeless; Ahmad found it an opportunity to bring a smile to the face of innocent children and people affected by the global pandemic. And as Brian Tracy beautifully said, “The best leaders have a high consideration factor. They really care about their people.” Shameem Ahmad never considered anyone less important for bringing development and revolution. That’s why he believes in the power of youth to shape Indian politics in a positive way.

In that dark phase of our life where the pandemic hit us really hard; Ahmad thought about those who have lost their homes, jobs, almost everything which is essential to sustain life. He considered everyone and provided ration to hundreds of families. Ahmad brought smiles to the face of hungry children. By filling the car with pulses, grains, oil, salt, medicines, and other essential commodities; Ahmad proved that a good leader is always tested in bad times.
In that time of economic recession where the whole system collapsed, Ahmad was of the view to empower everyone and spread positivity for bringing a change.

Shameem Ahmad wants to work for the people, he believes in values and ideas which could transform society.
He is looking for youngsters to empower the masses and provide ‘wings of change’ to the young generation. Keeping clarity and consistency in his work, Ahmad proved that leaders don’t become great because of their power but because of their ability to empower others.

Shameem Ahmad believes that racial and ‘caste discrimination is one of the major problems that put a brake on the evolution of any nation. He believes that without equality there is no liberty and growth.
No doubt that a leader with clarity, courage, and vision leads the world. By being compassionate to listen to the people and by taking tough decisions of change in the hardest times, Ahmad proved how exactly a good leader works for humanity.
