Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in director PS Mithran’s Hero, which was a spiritual sequel to Gentleman. The film which also starred Action King Arjun, Abhay Deol and Kalyani Priyadarshan received mixed reviews. For his next film, Siva has signed a film titled Doctor with his friend Nelson Dilipkumar.
DOCTOR SHOOT TO BE WRAPPED UP IN NOVEMBER
Doctor went on floors early this year. Like many other films, it was stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. After nearly eight months, the makers resumed the shoot recently. According to reports, director Nelson Dilipkumar and team are planning to wrap up the film by mid-November. The team will then concentrate on the post production work.
NO OTT RELEASE
The team of Doctor is looking at a direct theatrical release. They are in no hurry to release the film on OTT as they’re confident about the theatres re-opening. If everything goes well, Doctor will hit the theatres sometime in 2021.
Doctor, which has Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead roles, has created positive impact already. Composer Anirudh Ravichander’s Chellamma song is a huge hit on all platforms.
