The two stars who got fame from the show Balika Vadhu– Pratyusha Banarjee and Sidharth Shukla are no more. Pratyusha Banarjee played the role of Anandi and Siddharth Shukla was her husband Shivraj Shekhar. Fans loved their on-screen Jodi. Late actors Pratyusha and Sidharth, both rose to fame from the show Balika Vadhu.
In an interview with AajTak, Pratyusha’s father Shankar said that Sidharth had been in touch with them after their daughter’s death in 2016. He used to regularly check on their ‘well-being’. Also, he also mentioned that he ‘forcibly’ sent Rs.20,00 to them during the lockdown. Shankar added ‘ During the show Balika Vadhu, Sidharth and Pratyusha had become good friends. He used to come home as well. But after Pratyusha’s death, there were questions on their relationship. As a result, he stopped coming home. But, he asked them on WhatsApp if they need any help. Sidharth’s last messages to them were ‘ Uncle, Aunty are you guys fine? Can I help you in any way?’ It shows that Sidharth was not just an amazing actor, he was a person with a pure heart. Pratyusha’s parents considered Sidharth like their own ‘son’.
On Thursday, Sidharth succumbed to a heart attack. He was only 40-years old. His death came as a shock to everyone. While his family and friends are still coping with his sudden demise, his rumored girlfriend, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill has been in a tormented state. The duo met in Bigg Boss Season 13 and became close as friends. Sidharth Shukla was the winner of Bigg Boss 13. Reportedly, they were planning to get married soon.
