Sidharth Shukla was a renowned figure in media recently due to his sudden demise at the age of 40, due to a major heart attack on September 2nd, 2021. He was born on December 20th, 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Although his family belonged to Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Sidharth was an actor, model, and also a host in Indian Television and Bollywood Industry. He completed his schooling at St Xavier’s High school in Mumbai. He then went to Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design to pursue Interior Designing. During his school days, he excelled in sports. He represented on behalf of his school in tennis and football competitions. While he was in college, he started modeling. Not only did he start modeling, but he also took part in the Gladrags Manhunt competition where he was a runner-up in the year 2004.

Sidharth was popularly known for his role as Shivraj Shekhar in a tv show “Balika Vadhu” in the year 2008 which was aired on ColorsTV. Again he came into the limelight after his win in “Big Boss 13” aired on the same channel.

In 2004, he participated in a modeling contest Gladrags  Manhunt in which he was a runner-up. In the same year, he participated in the world’s best model hosted in Turkey where he represented India. He was the winner of the title and also the first Asian to grab the title. He also has appeared in various music videos by singers like Darshan Raval, Tony Kakkar, and Neha Kakkar.

Sidharth made his television debut in the year 2008 with “Babul Ka Aangan Chhootey Na” followed by various popular and hit TV shows like “Dil Se Dil Tak”, etc. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 2014 in the movie “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya” in which he played the role of an elder brother of actor Varun Dhawan. He also appeared in a known web series “Broken But Beautiful”.

Sidharth won a list of awards due to his hard work. He won Gladrags Manhunt Competition in the year 2004; Star Guilds Award and ITA awards in 2013; Zee Gold Award, Star Guild Award, Big Star Entertainment Award, ITA Award in 2014; Zee Gold and Star Dust Award in 2015; Filmfare Award in 2017; ITA Awards and Gold Awards again in 2020.
