Sidharth Malhotra is an Indian actor and former model. Born on 16 January 1985 in Delhi, Sidharth Malhotra age is 36 years old. Sidharth has been raised in Delhi, India. He belongs to the Punjabi Hindu family and his parents are Sunil and Rimma Malhotra. His father is a former captain in the Merchant Navy, and his mother is a homemaker. He has an elder brother, Harshad Malhotra. Harshad is a banker by profession.

In Delhi, Sidharth studied at Delhi’s Don Bosco School and Naval Public School. After completing his school education, he joined Shaheed Bhagat Singh College at the University of Delhi for pursuing graduation in B.Com Hons. Although his parents wanted him to pursue engineering, Sidharth was never interested in that field. He was a creative person and wanted to do something in the entertainment industry. Besides his college, Malhotra at age of 18, began modeling. Even though he was successful he quit the modeling industry after working for four years because he felt dissatisfied with the profession.

Today majorly, he works in Bollywood films. However, Malhotra began his career at the age of 18. He started his career with modeling and later he went on to work as a trainee assistant director to Karan Johar. In 2010, he landed his first film as a trainee assistant director and it was My Name Is Khan.

Sidharth Malhotra made his acting debut with a leading role in the teen drama Student of the Year in the year 2012. He played the role of Abhimanyu Singh in the film. His debut film was a commercial success and helped him make his name in the industry.  He has done many amazing films till now including Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Ek Villain (2014), Kapoor & Sons (2016), Ittefaq (2017), Marjaavaan (2019), and Shershaah (2021).

In his most recent film Shershaah, Sidharth essayed the role of Captain Vikram Batra. This Kargil war film was so appealing to the audience that it became the most-watched Indian film on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime. Sidharth’s upcoming films are Mission Majnu, Thank God, and Yodha.
