This year doesn’t seem to be going smoothly for Raj Kundra. He got arrested on the 19th of July 2021 for being involved in creating and promoting pornographic content through his app namely Hotshots. It is claimed that he used to earn crores through, the adult content. He is under 14 days of police custody since then. On his request for bail, Lower Court has denied his application on 28th July 2021.
Meanwhile, his troubles are skyrocketing as the model-actress; Sherlyn Chopra has alleged Raj Kundra to do sexual assault. In her statement to police, she mentioned that on April 2021, she filed FIR against him for sexual harassment and several charges have been applied to him under the Indian Penal Code.

Not to mention, she had been in contact with the businessman since 2019. His manager called her to work for his ongoing apps and advised her to monetize her content through their networks. On 27th March 2019, a meeting was held to discuss the proposal. After that, both had heated disagreements over text. Then, he reached her home uninvitedly, moreover, he tried to physically assault her. She straightforwardly mentioned to him neither she intends to involve with a married man nor she wants to mix the business with a personal relationship.

Still, Raj tried to persuade her by saying that he and her wife, Shilpa Shetty are sharing a strained relationship and he is under a lot of stress due to this wedlock. Nonetheless, she tried to persuade him but he didn’t listen and tried to kiss her. Meanwhile, she pushed him away and saved herself by running towards the washroom. Further, she locked herself and didn’t come out till he exited from her home.
Due to the whole incident, she was traumatized and took action against him. In her statement to police, she mentioned that on April 2021, she filed FIR against him for sexual harassment and several charges have been applied to him under the Indian Penal Code.
Business Connection With Raj Kundra
Sherlyn Chopra has ownership of two apps namely; The Sherlyn Chopra App and Redsher App. The first mentioned app is in collaboration with the alleged businessman’s company – Armsprime Media.
She had a contract related to this alliance with his company. She stated that she used to earn approximately Rupees 30 lakhs per project. Additionally, she did near about 15 to 20 projects for them within the period of June 2019 to July 2020. However, she doesn’t intend to continue any further since their company was not working as per the agreement. Thereby she refused to renew her contract in connection to her – The Sherlyn Chopra App. And demanded to remove content from the internet. Although, her content still prevails and they haven’t removed it.
She also added that “ During this agreement on several occasions, Raj Kundra had requested that I create content for his application called Hotshots’ to which I refused as I found the content of the application to be sleazy and downmarket,” as per the source from dnaindia.com
