A Chargesheet of 1467 pages was filed in the alleged pornography case. Against Raj Kundra and his companies, which also includes statements of 43 witnesses. The Chargesheet was filed by the Mumbai police. Sherlyn Chopra is also a witness and her statement has also been recorded in the Chargesheet. In her statement recorded in the Crime Branch’s document Sherlyn has been quoted as saying, “I had hired Arms Prime Pvt Ltd to make the Sherlyn Chopra App. The directors of Arms Prime were Saurabh Kushvah and Raj Kundra.”
It was also revealed that Shilpa Shetty is also one of the witnesses in the filed Chargesheet. According to the Chargesheet that was filed. Shilpa Shetty has nothing to do with her husband’s business. And also she was busy with her work so she has no clue what actually happened in the business.
Sherlyn Chopra and in her recorded statement she claimed that she never received her share of income from app’s revenue.
Sherlyn said to the police that she signed a contract with the firm Arms prime Media Pvt Ltd. She wax creating the mobile app named ‘The Sherlyn Chopra App’. The directors of Arms Prime were Saurabh Kushvah and Raj Kundra. Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty in a statement to Mumbai police claimed she was not aware of Raj Kundra’s activities as she was busy with her work. She told the police that Viaan Industries Limited was started in the year 2015 by Kundra. He holds a 24.50% stake in the company and was its director from April 2015 to July 2020. Later he resigned from the company for some personal reasons. “I have no idea about the ‘Hotshots’ or ‘Bollyfame’ apps,” she said
She has stated, “I never received my share of 50 percent. Then Raj Kundra approached me to work for the ‘HotShots’ app, a subsidiary of ‘Arms Prime Pvt Ltd’. I was assured it was perfectly fine to work for ‘HotShots’. I was also told that ‘HotShots’ would have bolder content and videos. But we could not agree with creative ideas and the monetary aspect of the deal, which is why I declined Raj Kundra’s offer to work on ‘HotShots’.”

Reacting to this, Sherlyn Chopra shared a video on Instagram, saying, “According to some media reports, didi (Shilpa Shetty) is saying that she wasn’t aware of the nefarious activities of her husband. Didi is also saying that she doesn’t about the movable and immovable assets of her husband. How true is this statement, you guys can understand yourself.” During her video, Sherlyn was seen doing bicep curls with dumbbells.
Taunting Shilpa, Sherlyn added “Waise isey kya kehte hain? Yeda bankar, peda khana. Hai na?”
Raj Kundra and his IT head Ryan Thorpe have been charged under various sections of IPC and sections of the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986. Reportedly, Raj Kundra’s brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi and Yash Thakur have been named as absconding accused in the Chargesheet.
The case against Kundra, arrested in July this year, is related to alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. In April, the crime branch filed the first charge sheet in the case against nine people.
Kundra and Ryan Thorpe were arrested by the Mumbai crime branch on July 19 and are currently in jail under judicial custody. Their bail pleas are pending before a Mumbai sessions court.
