Mumbai: Veteran comedian Raju Srivastava is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. Recently, his wife Shikha Srivastava and brother Deepu Srivastava shared Raju’s health update with the fans and asked them to stay away from rumours. Now Raju’s friend and actor Shekhar Suman has given the latest update on the health of the comedian.
Shekhar tweeted on Sunday, “Today’s update according to Raju’s family members.. His organs are working normally. Although he is still unconscious, doctors say that he is improving continuously. Mahadev’s grace Everywhere Shiva.”
On Friday, Raju’s brother Deepu Srivastava had said in a video message that the comedian was recovering at the hospital under the supervision of a team of expert medical professionals. He urged people not to pay heed to rumours and requested them to keep on wishing their brother well. “He is a fighter and will soon be back after winning the fight and entertaining everyone with his comedy,” he added.

Let us tell you, on August 10, Raju was working out in the gym when he complained of chest pain. He suffered cardiac arrest after running on the treadmill. After this he was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi and shortly after he underwent angioplasty.
On Friday also Shekhar Suman had shared a health update about Raju on Twitter, in which he wrote, ‘Raju’s latest update is that he is recovering from the critical condition he was in yesterday. The best doctors and neurosurgeons are treating him and things are looking better. I feel Raju’s will to fight and our collective prayers are being heard by the almighty. Everywhere Shiva.”
