Sex Education is returning to Netflix for another season and we’re putting together our huge preview of season three. The third season was among those many Netflix shows to be influenced by the COVID-19 disruptions however, the good thing is that creation is due to begin in September 2020. Here’s the latest:
As one of the most famous series on Netflix to date, it should come as no surprise that Netflix will be looking ahead to the third season. We’ll be keeping you up to date with all the latest news and information concerning season three, such as that which we can anticipate, production news, casting, and trailers, and of course the Netflix release date.
Sex Education Season 3 Release Date
Filming on Sex Education season 3 was due to start in late April. Ncuti Gatwa hilariously confessed he’s glad production has been postponed because of the seagull who follows him around in the apartment complex he remains in during filming.
If production hadn’t been postponed, then we might have assumed season three could follow an identical pattern to show two and one, and land onscreen in January 2021. The cast first began teasing filming and script readings for season 2 in May 2019, until Netflix released the series in full on January 17th, 2020. But here’s to hoping it’ll be here mid-2021?

Who Are The New Cast Members On Sex Education?
Girls celebrity Jemima Kirke will be joining the cast as”former Moordale student and new headmistress Hope who plans to turn Moordale back to the pillar of excellence it has always been”. Meanwhile, the Star Trek Discovery celebrity Jason Isaacs will be playing Mr. Groff’s older brother, also Dua Saleh will be joining the cast as Cal, a nonbinary pupil.

Sex Education Season Three Plot
At the close of the Sex Education season two, there have been breakups and makeups.
Ola abandoned Otis to get Lily, Eric left Rahim for Adam, and Otis professed his love to Maeve finished voicemail. It’s a shame that Issac — Maeve’s new pal who goes into the trailer park she resides in — deleted the message before she got to listen to it, but guess what? Netflix enjoys a cliff-hanger and this one left audiences desperate to know what happens next.
