Samsung Galaxy A03s Released: Prices and Specifications revealed

Samsung has announced the release of the Samsung Galaxy A03s, the company’s latest ‘A Series’ smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy A03s features a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display, 13MP triple back cameras, a 5000mAh battery, and an Octa-core MediaTek P35 engine with a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The pricing of the Samsung Galaxy A03s with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage has been set at Rs 11,499, while the phone with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage costs Rs 12,499. Blue, Black, and White are the three matte color versions of the phone that have been released. Samsung India’s main website, Samsung.com, as well as major online portals and retail outlets, are selling the phone.

Galaxy A03s Hardware Specifications

With up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage, the MediaTek Helio P35 processor is designed for speed and multitasking. Storage on the Samsung Galaxy A03s can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card, should the need arise.

Display and Software: A 6.5-inch HD + (720×1600 pixels) Infinity V TFT display is featured on the Samsung Galaxy A03s with Dual-SIM (Nano). It has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is built on Android 11 and runs on the One UI 3.1 core with no information about the upgradation to Android 12 in the coming months.

Camera: The Samsung A03s includes three cameras on the back: a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera sensor. For selfies, a 5-megapixel front camera sensor has been provided that is somewhat inferior to other phones in a similar price range.

Connectivity: Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C connector are all available on the Galaxy A03s. For security, a fingerprint sensor has been placed on the phone’s side which is a set standard for the 15k smartphone segment.

Price

The Galaxy A03s is priced at Rs 11,499 for the 3GB+32GB model and Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+64GB model. It will come in three colors: Black, Blue, and White, and will have a hazy and matte textured body. The smartphone will be available at major and small retail outlets, Samsung.com, and major online portals including Flipkart and a few other major e-commerce websites. There is no shortage of options in the 12k price range with more appealing alternatives from Xiaomi and Realme and time will tell if users transition to a Samsung in this range.
