Fans have been waiting patiently for another chapter of the well-received comedy-drama starring Natasha Lyonne, and many are hoping they do not need to wait much longer for the next one. Season 2 of Russian Doll had been officially declared in June 2019, and in March 2021, it had been announced that Emmy Award winner Annie Murphy out of Schitt’s creek would be joining the cast.

What Is Russian Doll About?
Russian Doll follows Nadia, a video game programmer who’s captured in a time-loop forcing her to recreate the identical night, similar to that of this traditional comedy film Groundhog Day or the action-packed sci-fi thriller Edge of Tomorrow. Every iteration showcases Nadia’s efforts to resolve the puzzle of what’s happening to her, and in the process, she ends up meeting somebody in the same predicament.
When Is Russian Doll Season 2 Coming Out?
Whether Russian Doll season 2 will be out this year on Netflix, the news isn’t ideal, largely because there is nothing official yet. A release date has not yet been announced for the next chapter.
It’s been reported that production on Russian Doll season 2 began in March 2021. So there’s a chance that the show could come back in late 2021, but it could be wiser to expect a 2022 release date.
