On 30 November 2020, Ruchikaa Kapoor and Shaheer Sheikh tied the knot. Reportedly, the couple was in a relationship for a long time. And, they were finally open about their relationship a while ago before their marriage. However, Shaheer and Ruchikaa got hitched in the court. Later, they had a private wedding ceremony.
The duo is head over heels for each other. Moreover, in an interview, Shaheer had said, “It is strange. People would tell me that things will change and it won’t be the same once you are married. it is nothing like that. I don’t see or feel a change. I think the base of our relationship is friendship. We have been friends for a long time so the dynamics of our relationship have not changed. It doesn’t feel any different, it is amazing. We can still go out and be the same. I am liking that I can’t feel any change.”
On 9th September 2021, the couple welcomed their first child. It’s a baby girl. They have named their daughter- Anaya.

In 2010, Ruchikaa Kapoor began her career as Creative Producer & Executive Vice President of Marketing and Branding at Balaji Motion Pictures. At her job, she was responsible for positioning the entire motion picture studio. Also, her duties included constructing the annual brand plans and defining the core communication strategy.
In the year 2014, Ruchikaa was appointed as Marketing Head at Balaji Motion Pictures. After her appointment, she worked in many popular Bollywood movies and is active in B-Town. Ruchikaa is known for her works in the movies like Veere Di Wedding and Laila Majnu.
