Rohanpreet was born in a Sikh Family. His father, Gurinder Pal Singh is a sportsperson and employee at Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB). His mother Daljeet Kaur is a housewife and Rohan also has sisters, Amanpreet Kaur and Rashminder Kaur. Before dating and getting married to Neha Kakkar. He was in a rumored relationship with Tajikistan singer, Mehrnigori Rustam.
Rohan came close to Neha Kakkar when they were filming the song ” Diamond Da Challa“, and since then there have been dating rumors of these two singers. In October 2020, made their relationship official on social media where Neha Kakkar tagged Rohanpreet Singh and said ” You’re Mine”. And then in the same month, October 21, 2020, Neha Kakkar shared a video of their engagement ceremony. Later in the same year on 24 October 2020, Rohanpreet and Neha tied the knot in a close ceremony of friends and family.

Rohanpreet started singing when he was 3 years old, and at the age of 4, he performed on the stage for the very first time. His father supported and encouraged his dream of becoming a singer. Rohan was trained in Hindustani Classical Music and was trained at the age of 9 under Professor Gurumukh Singh Sehgal. He participated in reality singing shows like Saregamapa L’il Champs in 2007 from where he became popular after becoming the first runners-up.
