Xiaomi has launched quite a few laptops in the past under the RedmiBook Series or Mi Notebook series that became popular for their sleek looks and powerful processors under a budget. Now, Redmi laptops are making their way into the consumer market and will feature a slight design overhaul along with specifications that will be unveiled today. The initial leaks suggest that the latest eleventh generation Intel processors of the i3 and i5 family might be the only available options in the RedmiBook. Both Mi laptops or RedmiBook Series haven’t shown any interest in Ryzen processors that could bring the cost even down.
RedmiBook Series Launch Date?
All the doubts about the RedmiBook Series laptops will be cleared after the brand’s live stream that will showcase what models are available for purchase and when can the Indian consumers buy them. The launch event will live-stream on YouTube at noon today and will mark the release of the laptop by Redmi in India.
Mi Notebook Series Laptops Expected Specifications
RedmiBook Series laptops will feature a RedmiBook 15 variant with a 15.6-inch display. Since it’s speculated of using 11th generation Intel processors, battery life will be promising. The laptop is expected to come with a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 card and Bluetooth version 5.0 for wireless connectivity. It may not feature an Ethernet port as it will raise the thickness of the laptop.
Being an eleventh-generation processor machine, the laptops are expected to have a thunderbolt 4 port or at least a USB Type-C port with PD charging support. No details about the GPU have emerged in the leaks which suggests that the laptop may be focused on the workplace and home use segment. RedmiBook 15 is supposed to have a 14-inch variant as well that won’t be a downgrade in any component except the overall size of the laptop and the display.

RedmiBook 15 Price
If the laptop comes without a discrete GPU, the chances of it crossing the 50000 INR mark are very few. Redmi is known for its budget products and this laptop will most likely follow in those footsteps.
