Veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani, 77, had been discovered dead in his flat in Ambi village, Maval taluka, close to Talegaon Dabhade. This tragic news devastated the entertainment industry. The actor, who earned a reputation for living by himself, left behind a startling gap.
When worried neighbours smelled something fishy coming from Mahajani’s flat on Friday about 4:30 p.m., they immediately called the Talegaon MIDC police station. The police arrived and encountered a locked door. They regrettably decided to break in considering there were neighbours close by. Their worst suspicions became apparent when Mahajani’s lifeless body was found indoors. According to the authorities, the dead was recognised as Mahajani by the flat owner.
According to Senior Inspector Shivaji Gaware their team discovered the door and discovered Mahajani deceased inside the flat. The Talegaon Dabhade hospital received the body for an autopsy. According to reports, physicians believed Mahajani had died three days prior. Because he had been residing alone for eight months prior to his passing.
