When worried neighbours smelled something fishy coming from Mahajani’s flat on Friday about 4:30 p.m., they immediately called the Talegaon MIDC police station. According to Senior Inspector Shivaji Gaware their team discovered the door and discovered Mahajani deceased inside the flat. The Talegaon Dabhade hospital received the body for an autopsy. According to reports, physicians believed Mahajani had died three days prior. Because he had been residing alone for eight months prior to his passing.
