83 Booked for Christmas
The upcoming cricket drama “83” is all set to win the hearts of all Indians. Directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan, 83 showcases the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup win under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in the year 1983. It describes India’s win when they defeated West Indies in the final. Ranveer Singh who plays the character of Kapil Dev in the film recently tweeted, “It’s time. ‘83’ in cinemas this Christmas. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam”

When will 83 released?
Many people are not aware of the fact that 83 had to be released in April 2020. However, this big-budget, multi-starrer movie was one of the first projects which got pushed due to COVID-19 outbreak in India. The makers of the film had announced a fresh release date. And, they decided on June 4, 2021. However, even this date got pushed again due to the second wave of the pandemic.
The film is now scheduled to release in cinemas in December 2021. As shown in the trailer, 83 will be in cinemas from 24th December 2021 onwards.
