Ram came into limelight when he left his first wife and engaged to Sunitha Upadrashta (Singer) on Monday, 7 December 2020.On Sunday, 10 January 2021, he got married to Sunitha in a traditional Hindu ritual at Sri Seetha Rama Chandra Swamy Temple, near Shamshabad in Hyderabad. He is the second husband of Sunitha. Earlier, he was married to Kiran Kumar Goparaju.
