In New Delhi: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, a religious leader who was convicted of rape and murder. Currently on parole, appears in a song video that is becoming more popular on YouTube. Dera Sacha Sauda’s leader received a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty in 2017. Last week, when his family submitted an application, he given a 40-day release.
On the day of Diwali, Ram Rahim uploaded a bright new Punjabi music video to his YouTube page. He given credit for the music, lyrics, singing, composition, and directing in the written descriptions of the video. More than 42 lakh people have viewed it in the past 22 hours.

The opposition has attacked the timing of Ram Rahim’s parole release

Pointing out that he is usually freed before an election. Haryana is now holding panchayat elections as well as by-elections for the Adampur assembly constituency. Previously, in June, the Dera chief granted a month’s parole ahead of elections to 46 community organizations. He awarded three weeks’ leave in February, ahead of the Punjab assembly elections.

“In light of the Adampur by-election, Dera leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim granted 40 days parole. Why doesn’t the BJP have Ram Rahim run in the election so he doesn’t have to cast secret ballots?” Udit Raj, a senior Congress politician, tweeted.
