Raj Kundra finally returns home after spending 2 months in jail. Raj Kundra returned home on September 21 and reunited with his family and was very happy to see them. He was in jail for doing the alleged production and distribution of pornographic content. Raj who married Shilpa Shetty was in the headlines almost every day for the last few months. As he exited it was Shilpa Shetty’s bodyguard who protectively escorted him to the car and even risked it all to get his boss home safely.
Raj has lost a lot of weight and was in tears when he was existing jail. He was arrested by Crime Branch after hours of interrogation on July 19. Kundra was the main person behind all these pornography issues. “Content creation and operations of ‘Hotshots’ app was carried out through Viaan company. During the raid, we found evidence on basis of which we arrested Kundra.”
After he was arrested a raid was conducted in the bungalow of Raj and Shilpa, by Mumbai Crime Branch. The Crime Branch even conducted a raid at Raj Viaan Industries’ office and found a cupboard hidden between two walls. Speaking about the numerous raids, an official had told TOI, “We are sending eight servers seized from Kundra’s office for forensic analysis as prima facie we have found pornographic data deleted after the police busted the racket in February.” Apart from documents, Raj’s laptop and the SAN (Storage Area Network) box were also seized by the officials.
Shilpa Shetty later her voice on August 2 after 1 month to support her husband. And spoke up and opened up about it on social media. “The past few days have been challenging, on every front. There have been a lot of rumors and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well-wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family. MY STAND… I HAVE NOT COMMENTED YET and will continue to refrain from doing so in this case as it is subjudice, so please stop attributing false quotes on my behalf. Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity “Never complain, never explain”.

All I will say is, as it’s an ongoing investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary. As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for my children’s sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same. I am a proud law-abiding Indian citizen and a hardworking professional for the last 29 years. People have put their faith in ME & I’ve never let anyone down. So, most importantly, I request you to respect my family’s and ‘my right’ to privacy in these times. We don’t deserve a media trial. Please let the law take its course. Satyamev Jayate!” she wrote.
Later Sherlyn Chopra was also summoned by Mumbai Crime Branch. She was interrogated and question for 8 hours straight. Sherlyn had said, “I appeared before the officers today and they asked me to share information about Armsprime media and everything related to Raj Kundra. They also asked, ‘Raj Kundra k sath mere kaise sambandh the (What kind of a relationship did I have with Raj Kundra)’ and what about the other companies owned by him, do you have any information about them?”
Later in September 15 Chargesheet was filed against Raj Kundra and in 21st September he was granted bill. By giving 50,000 rupees and had an emotional outburst as he stepped out of jail. A video going viral on the internet see Ravi guarding Raj and later he is spotted running ahead of Raj Kundra’s car as the businessman arrived at his Juhu bungalow. Netizens are praising Shilpa Shetty’s bodyguard for his dedication towards the couple.
